Our house
Akash Palace was built for the way people actually travel through Chotila — arriving late off the Ahmedabad–Rajkot road, climbing to the temple before first light, and needing somewhere calm and clean to come back to.
Rooms finished in warm stone, teak and quiet colour. A kitchen that cooks Kathiawadi food the way it should be cooked. Staff who will arrange your early morning tea before you leave for darshan, and a late plate of khichdi when you return.

Why guests return
Conveniently located near Chotila's major attraction, just off the main road through town.
Easy walking access to the famous temple, so an early darshan does not need a taxi.
Beautifully designed rooms, properly cleaned, with the quiet you need after a long day.
Quality food prepared with care — the kitchen is the oldest part of this business.
A comfortable choice for families and pilgrims, with rooms that fit more than two.
Warm and attentive service from a team that lives in Chotila.
The destination
Chotila draws visitors and pilgrims through the whole year — at dawn for darshan, at dusk for the view from the hill, and at every hour in the festival months.
The hilltop shrine that gives Chotila its name, reached by a stepped climb. Busiest at sunrise and during Navratri.
The climb itself is the experience — the plain opens out behind you the higher you go.
Chotila sits on the main highway, making it a natural halt on the way to Saurashtra or Kutch.
